Added sugar is something that you should try to limit in your daily intake. It is recommended that you have less than 50 grams of added sugar each day. Added sugar can come in many forms such as fruit juices and candy bars. Added sugar is not a part of a balanced diet so the less the better.

brown sugar, corn sweetener, corn syrup, dextrose, fructose, fruit juice concentrates, glucose, high fructose corn syrup, honey, invert sugar, lactose, maltose, malt syrup, molasses, raw sugar, sucrose, sugar and syrup

All of these added sugars can be harmful to your health over a period of time if eaten in excess amounts on a daily basis.
